C/Change invites interdisciplinary individuals and teams around the globe to submit concepts for prototypes that utilise emerging technologies to enable cultural exchange. Accepted applicants will receive a grant to develop a high-fidelity platform, tool, or experience, as well as expand their skill sets and join a community of design futurists through regular virtual workshops and meetings.

The City as Forest Residency Programme offers immersion for research and experimentation, meant for artists and scientists interested in developing their work in the urban environment of Rio de Janeiro. Rising: Climate in Crisis Residencies at A Studio in the Woods invites artists to face the severity of the climate crisis and be agents of change to guide our collective understanding, response, and vision as we shape our shared future. Residencies are 6 weeks and will take place between September 2022 and May 2023, either over six consecutive weeks or two three-week sessions. Individuals and duos can apply.

The Eskenazi School of Art Architecture + Design at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a 4–6-week McKinney International Art and Design Residency. An established artist or designer will be selected whose primary country of residence is outside the United States. Applications from practitioners of studio disciplines, as well as criticism, are welcome. Selected artists are required to visit for a 4–6-week period between1 February – 1 May 2023.

CEC ArtsLink invites artists, arts leaders and curators from all arts disciplines from eligible countries to apply for the ArtsLink International Fellowships 2022. The Henry L. and Natalie E. Freund Teaching Fellowship centres around two core components: teaching in the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts and producing work for a solo exhibition for the Saint Louis Art Museum’s Currents series. On-site activities take place in the autumn of 2022 and 2023.

Cornell University’s Institute for Comparative Modernities welcomes applications from translators for a non-resident, remote fellowship designed to allow the recipient to complete translations of works from the Global South (Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, etc) into English. The project may be a work-in-process, or a new project manageable within the scope of the award.

The Logan Nonfiction Program is a hybrid fellowship for nonfiction writers, documentary filmmakers, photojournalists, podcasters and multimedia creators. The fellowship combines virtual and in-person programming in two classes per year of 10-12 fellows per class. Provisional dates for the coming year are 2 April - 11 June 2022 and 16 July – 24 September 2022.
