Submissions are open for the 11th edition of PRISMA–International Contemporary Dance Festival of Panama to be held in Panama City from 8-16 October 2022. The length of submitted work must be between 20 and 60 minutes. Proposed pieces can be designed for theatre setting or for public/alternative spaces.

The Mattress Factory is an artist-centred museum, international residency programme, and renowned producer of installation art located in Pittsburgh. They have now opened an international open call for artist residencies and solo exhibitions. Over an 18 to 24 month period, artists are invited to work closely with the Mattress Factory to develop and plan a project, typically working on-site for a 6 to 8 week period to install a site-specific installation inside the Museum.

The Anderson Center’s Deaf Artists Residency (DAR) is an ASL-centric environment where Deaf artists can communicate and exchange ideas. The programme provides 5 Deaf artists of various disciplines the opportunity to come together to live, work and share ideas with other native ASL signers, while advancing their own personal artistic projects. For the 2022 season, the Anderson Center is only offering month-long residencies in June.

Amant’s Studio & Research Residency enables practitioners to pursue their individual artistic goals while also being closely integrated into the organisation’s wider community programming during a three-month stay in New York City. The residency welcomes applications from around the world from both emerging artists and from artists with professional standing in their field.

The UNESCO Regional Office for Culture in Latin America and the Caribbean is in charge of the implementation of the UNESCO programme Transcultura: Integrating Cuba, the Caribbean and the European Union through Culture and Creativity, supported by the European Union. The Programme is built on two components: the first focusing on strengthening the skills and capacities of young cultural professionals and the second on enhancing opportunities through knowledge transfer and exchanges.

In 2022 the CCA-WRI fellowship programme is themed ‘Above/Below/Between: Light on a Damaged Planet’, under which it will seek to understand architecture’s varied relationships to the changing material constitution of the light spectrum. Fellows will be offered a residency at the CCA between July and October 2022, for a period of one to three months.

Founded in 1986 in the Outaouais region of Quebec, DAÏMÔN is a resource centre for artists in the region. It also hosts artists from Quebec, the rest of Canada and abroad in production residencies. DAÏMÔN is currently calling for artists for both in-person and virtual residencies.

Center Stage is a cultural exchange programme designed to support professional performing arts ensembles. Hosted by colleges and universities, festivals, music clubs, and cultural centres, a total of six groups from Ethiopia, Philippines, and South Africa will make month-long US tours to large cities and small towns between July and December 2023.

The Emmanuel College Art Department offers a six-week artist residency to four artists each summer from mid June to mid July. The Art Department specifically aims to award a residency to one individual from each of four categories: ceramics, photography, printmaking and social practice.

Québec BD invites comic book authors to apply for a new series of four international residences that will allow them to create and experience these seasons in Québec City. These one-month residencies are aimed at authors from outside of Canada and residents of cities who are members of the UNESCO Literary Cities Network. Residencies will take place in February, April, July and October 2022.

The Spudnik Press Cooperative Residency Program offers studio space and financial support to artists working in printmaking media to produce new print-based work. Resident Artists become an important part of the Spudnik community by providing public programs that build from their art practice and create conversation and connections. Residencies should take place between 1 January – 31 December 2022 (flexible dates).

PASSAGES INSOLITES is a public arts festival featuring a circuit of temporary artworks as well as artistic happenings in public space. Presented by EXMURO arts publics and the City of Quebec, this accessible event has been taking place every summer since 2014, for several months, in the historical and central neighbourhoods of Quebec City.
