The Nordic Analog Network is an artist-in-residence program between analog photography darkrooms in the Nordic countries. Selected artists will travel for a three-week period to work in a darkroom in another Nordic country during 2024.
During their stay the artists are free to work with whatever project they want, alongside other photographers using the darkroom. The invited photographers are encouraged to give some form of presentation of their work at the darkroom they are visiting and may get help to organise other activities such as workshops, small shows, artist talks, meet-ups with other artists or galleries and the like. The goal is to share experience and create contacts and opportunities for networking between analog photo artists.
Accommodation will be organised by the inviting darkroom, and the invited artists will have an artist’s fee of 900€ to cover the travel and living expenses.
The call is open to any person above 18 years, living in one of the Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, including the regions of Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland.
