The Art Explora Foundation together with Cité internationale des arts invite candidates to propose a project that questions contemporary issues, including new technologies, the links between art and science, and environmental and social issues. Solo residencies (6 months) for artists and duo residencies for artists and researchers (3 months) are available for various dates in 2023/2024.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) Institute is pleased to announce the 2022 edition of its Artists Development Programme (ADP) in collaboration with Cité internationale des arts (Paris), for which it is looking for two visual artists (born after 1 January 1987) from Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Luxembourg, Portugal or Romania. The residency in Paris will take place from 2 September until 28 November 2022.

The ‘Centre national de la danse x Cité internationale des arts Residency’ is dedicated to choreographers or curators/programmers of performing arts residing outside French territories. The residency lasts for three months from 2 May – 29 July 2022. Applicants should be between 25-35 years old and be able to provide proof of professional artistic activity for at least three years.

The MEP – Collection Gervanne + Matthias Leridon Collection - Cité internationale des arts Residency is a new residency programme for emerging artists, dedicated to African photography. A three-month artistic residency is offered from 3 January – 28 March 2022. Applicants should be nationals or residents of an African country between 18 and 40 years old.

TRAME est un programme de résidences à destination d’artistes francophones du monde qui souhaitent développer un projet de recherche et de création dans toutes les disciplines à Paris, pendant une durée de trois mois. Chaque année, dix lauréats sont sélectionnés.

Dans le cadre du nouveau projet d’établissement, la Cité internationale des arts initie depuis 2017 une refondation de la relation avec les 135 partenaires historiques (souscripteurs) de l’institution. Elle construit également de nouveaux programmes de résidence sur-mesure en collaboration avec des partenaires prescripteurs souhaitant soutenir les talents de la scène artistique nationale et internationale. Le/la Chargé.e des programmes de résidence et des partenariats est en charge de la poursuite et du développement de ces deux axes de travail.

TRAME est un programme de résidences à destination d’artistes francophones du monde entier qui souhaitent développer un projet de recherche et de création dans toutes les disciplines à Paris, pendant une durée de trois mois. Chaque année, dix lauréat.e.s sont sélectionné.e.s. TRAME est un programme de résidence qui s’adresse à des artistes de toutes nationalités, dont les artistes français.es. Il est ouvert à toutes les disciplines artistiques, sans limite d’âge.

Le·la Responsable de la programmation culturelle est chargé·e de la conception globale de la programmation et de la mise en œuvre des événements, en phase avec le projet d’établissement et la mission de la Cité internationale des arts. La programmation doit à la fois être le reflet de la variété des pratiques et des profils d’artistes accueillis en résidence, tout en donnant à voir les axes stratégiques de l’établissement.

With the utmost vigilance with regard to the health situation, and within the framework of its support of the cultural and creative industries, the Institut français is making every effort to support the artistic creation and launches a call for applications for its programme at the Cité internationale des arts for residencies of three or six months, between April 2021 and April 2022.

The Art Explora Foundation and the Cité internationale des arts are collaborating to co-construct a unique residency programme for French and international artists and researchers. The first session will begin in March 2021. There are two programmes: SOLO programme: Only for artists. Residence of 6 months from March 2021 onwards. 2 sessions per year, each of which will welcome 6 artists (12 artists welcomed each year): March-August and September-February.
