Cité internationale des arts

Ever since the Cité internationale des arts was founded in 1965, artists have been coming from all over the world to take part in its artist in residence programmes. The Cité encourages cross-cultural dialogue and provides a place where artists can meet with the public and other professionals.

    The European Investment Bank (EIB) Institute is pleased to announce the 2022 edition of its Artists Development Programme (ADP) in collaboration with Cité internationale des arts (Paris), for which it is looking for two visual artists (born after 1 January 1987) from Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Luxembourg, Portugal or Romania. The residency in Paris will take place from 2 September until 28 November 2022.

    The ‘Centre national de la danse x Cité internationale des arts Residency’ is dedicated to choreographers or curators/programmers of performing arts residing outside French territories. The residency lasts for three months from 2 May – 29 July 2022. Applicants should be between 25-35 years old and be able to provide proof of professional artistic activity for at least three years.

    Dans le cadre du nouveau projet d’établissement, la Cité internationale des arts initie depuis 2017 une refondation de la relation avec les 135 partenaires historiques (souscripteurs) de l’institution. Elle construit également de nouveaux programmes de résidence sur-mesure en collaboration avec des partenaires prescripteurs souhaitant soutenir les talents de la scène artistique nationale et internationale. Le/la Chargé.e des programmes de résidence et des partenariats est en charge de la poursuite et du développement de ces deux axes de travail.

    The Art Explora Foundation and the Cité internationale des arts are collaborating to co-construct a unique residency programme for French and international artists and researchers. The first session will begin in March 2021. There are two programmes: SOLO programme: Only for artists. Residence of 6 months from March 2021 onwards. 2 sessions per year, each of which will welcome 6 artists (12 artists welcomed each year): March-August and September-February.
