In 2015, Med Culture commissioned a study on Employability in the cultural and creative sectors in Arab Mediterranean countries: The cases of Palestine, Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco. The study addresses issues and challenges related to employability in the cultural and creative industries in the above mentioned four countries.

Arterial Network has released a free e-book compilation of poems, articles and works of fiction on the subject of freedom of creative expression in Africa, titled How Free is Free? The African Arts Institute launched The Migrant Artist’s Handbook: A guide to living and working in Cape Town & Johannesburg. The handbook undertakes to provide both Migrant and South African start-up artists with resources, references and tools to approach various arts disciplines with self-fulfilling and self-sustaining imperatives.

This practical guide, in French, on the rights of musicians in French-speaking African countries, is available on the site of the IRMA (Centre d’information et de ressources pour les musiques actuelles).
