CEC ArtsLink presents a new publication, A Miracle or Misunderstanding: Socially Engaged Practices in the Art Prospect Network Countries, including field reports from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. This study grew out of CEC ArtsLink’s commitment to support international cultural mobility and new models to creatively address socio-political concerns, transforming urban environments, and engaging local communities. It serves to connect the broader international arts community to the post-Soviet region, engage funders, and advocate for the importance of transnational cultural exchange.

While attending the Performing Arts Meeting in Seoul (PAMS) on 9-11 October 2018, we came across different Asian networks that have blossomed, particularly since 2015, in the performing arts sector. Check the list of these networks that we started to compile and feel free to write to us to correct or enrich it!

Conceived as a hand-on tool, this mobility guide - conceived by Circostrada in collaboration with On the Move - aims to be resourceful and inspirational for future collaborations between Asia and Europe in the field of circus and street art. It not only gives an overview and a mapping of Asian artistic scene in circus and street arts, but also helps to organise and plan a mobility project for all cultural players through funding mobility schemes, administrative pieces of advice and inspiring collaboration testimonies.

China Now is an online resource for UK arts and creative professionals with an interest in China and Hong Kong. You can check it and find useful resources even if you are not from the UK.

This publication is focused on social and participatory art practices analyzed through a methodology of dialogues and conversations with artists and cultural practitioners from Asia and Europe. Among the different topics discussed in the publication, there is the significant emergence of artistic and cultural mobility.
