The ARS BALTICA network connects the Baltic Sea states by encouraging cultural collaboration. It supports the implementation of high quality artistic or cultural projects with a strong focus on the Baltic Sea Region, and creates a platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences of cultural cooperation.

    Atelier Josepha / ARS BALTICA: Residencies for Artist From the Baltic Sea Region (Germany)
    Atelier Josepha and ARS BALTICA are offering a residency that will take place over a period of three weeks between September and December 2023. The residency requires the artist’s full-time presence at Atelier Josepha. The call is addressed to solo artists of all disciplines. Eligible artists (no age limit) must be residents of a state that borders the Baltic Sea. Residents of other European countries are welcome if they have a proven connection to the Baltic Sea region.

    Research Study on CCI / Cultural Funding Accessibility in the Baltic Sea Region
    As part of the Creative Ports project, On the Move member ARS BALTICA launched a research study on Cultural Funding tools with a focus on Mobility Funding and Cooperation Funding. The aim of the research study, produced in cooperation with On the Move, is to map all relevant funding tools on Mobility Funding and Cooperation Funding for the CCI. The study includes the current state of the arts regarding the funding schemes, sub-sectors, cross-sectorial potential trends, discrepancies and access to funding.
