Wonju City of Literature Writers’ Residency (South Korea)

Wonju City of Literature offers an opportunity for one writer from another UNESCO city of literature to come to Wonju, as Wonju City of Literature’s international level contribution to the cities of literature subnetwork, designed to promote the understanding and the friendship of cities of literature.

This residency is 8 weeks, running from 1 September – 31 October 2023, and takes place at Toji Cultural Centre. Applicants must have at least B2 level in English.

The organisers provide a round-trip air ticket, transportation on arrival and departure dates, meals, and accommodation at Toji Cultural Centre. During their stay, the selected writer will share residence with other national and international writers.
