Arctic Festival in Rovaniemi are looking for talented professional and amateur artists who are passionate about environmental art. This year they will invite seven teams to take part in the Snow-Ice Carving Competition from 22-28 January 2024, each team consisting of a maximum of two people.

Between Bridges is pleased to announce the open call for the next two biannual residencies for visual artists. One residency will take place from January to June 2024, the other from July to December 2024. They will each be divided into a five-month working phase and a one-month exhibition or public presentation. The upcoming recipients will follow artist and filmmaker Yalda Afsah (first half of 2023) and the collective Viscose (second half of 2023).

GuestRoomMaribor invites artists and cultural professionals to apply for a research-based residency project in Maribor, Slovenia in summer 2024. Applicants must be legal residents of one of the Creative Europe countries beyond Slovenia.

The cultural and civil society organisation zusa is organising residencies in Berlin which will focus on two thematic axes: reflection and re-thinking on the idea of solidarity in Europe; and mental well-being of artists and cultural professionals. The residency is dedicated to artists and cultural professionals based in European countries but with focus on Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Austria, and Germany.

‘Earth and Song’ is a two month residency for ceramic artists to create, learn, research, and share experiences within Vardablur village (Lori province, Armenia). Applicants must be legally residing in one of the 40 Creative Europe countries, except Armenia.

‘Illa’ means ‘island’ in Catalan. The project (illa) is an artist residency for contemporary photography and/or video, which will take place at the Casa d’Artistes creation centre over 60 days from 2 April – 31 May 2024. (illa) is aimed at visual artists from the western Mediterranean islands that are not part of Spain (Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, the Tuscan archipelago, Phlegraean Islands, etc.).

In partnership with Kunsthalle Praha, Delfina Foundation welcomes applications from curators based in Central and Eastern Europe for a one-month residency in London. The residency will take place from 28 February - 27 March 2024, during Delfina Foundation’s winter season.

Narva Art Residency will offer three artists or creative duos funded residency places to create sculptural artworks or urban installations in the public spaces of Narva. These three residencies last from 1 July until 29 August.
