The Bridging Career Take-Off Programme BCTO is designed for DJs-producers, sound artists, sound producers and electronic musicians, musicians with digital music practices, and has both an offline and an online component. Applicants should be resident and/or a citizen of one of the partner countries of the project - Tunisia, France, and Albania.

For the second edition of this workshop for cultural mobility developers, On the Move is collaborating with Culture Funding Watch and focusing on the South Mediterranean countries, namely: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Malta, Italy (Sicily, Lampedusa, Pelagie Islands), Spain (Ceuta, Melilla).

The African Cultural Fund (ACF) and 32bis (a contemporary art space in Tunis), are pleased co-organise the ACF Academy, which will take place between 4-22 July 2022 in Tunis. This programme will support 10 young visual artists from Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania and Tunisia to develop their artistic approach and sharpen their theoretical knowledge, as well as strengthen their entrepreneurial and professional skills.

In continuation of its Culture Solidaire programme Kamel Lazaar Foundation is launching two calls for projects. One call is for artists from all disciplines, from and/or residents in the Arab world and/or the Mediterranean, willing to work in relation with Tunisia. A second call is for researchers, curators, and writers willing to develop research, critical thinking and/or curatorial work in Tunisia.

From 1 December 2021, L’Art Rue and MitOst are looking for a full-time Assistant Coordinator who will be be based in Tunis, at the L’Art Rue office in Dar Bach Hamba, and work on the project ‘Thaqafa Daayer Maydoor / All-Around Culture’.

Medinea (MEDiterranean INcubator of Emerging Artists) supports the professional integration of young Mediterranean musicians. It is now inviting applications for four training sessions in Lisbon (Portugal), Sidi Bou Said (Tunisia), Aix-en-Provence (France), and Nuoro (Italy) to explore intercultural and improvised music with the help of the jazzman and composer Fabrizio Cassol. Each session has its own dates and deadline.

The Octopus Programme is a guided research-based educational programme that encourages artistic research across sectors. The call for the next phase of the programme is open to all Diploma Students, Master’s and PhD students at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design Stockholm, as well as artists from or based in South Africa, Palestine and Tunisia. Applicants should have oral and written proficiency in English and be able to travel abroad twice between June 2021 and June 2022 (5 to 7 days).

Launching its first cycle in 2020, Mouatheqat is a nine-month fellowship incubator (January-September 2021) for female professionals to get hands-on experience and exchange the necessary skills to write, research, direct, produce and edit a documentary film. Activities take place in Germany and Tunisia. Fellows of the following countries and their international diasporas are eligible: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Mauritania, Sudan, Tunisia.

L’Art Rue use the vector of art as a tool for dialogue and social and human development. They are developing various large-scale programmes where art and social ties are intimately linked. Currently, they are looking for a Communication Manager. Deadline: 25 April 2020.

L’Art Rue, a Tunisian association carrying out citizens’ and innovative art projects in public spaces, is offering two residency sessions for artists of any discipline from the Middle East and Africa. The first will take place from September to December 2020, and the second from January to April 2021. Regardless of which session(s) artists attend, all successful applicants must also participate in a thinking laboratory, taking place 5-18 October 2020. Deadline: 20 April 2020 (sessions 1 & 2) / 30 June 2020 (session 2 only).
