Common Stories are looking for 8 theatre directors, playwrights, choreographers and performance makers to take part in Common LAB 2023, an itinerant 8-week laboratory in France, Sweden, Egypt and Portugal from September - November 2023. Applicants should be performing arts artists living and working in Europe, with a good command of English.

Norbergfestival presents contemporary music, performances and interdisciplinary works each year at the abandoned iron mine site of Mimerlaven in Norberg, Sweden. This year’s edition is planned for 6–8 July 2023, and the festival seek a visual artist for a residency to produce a new work that will be presented at the festival.

Professional dancers, choreographers and companies in the fields of contemporary dance and performing arts who are active in Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland and Romania are invited to participate in the festival HERE:2023, organised by Vitlycke – Centre for Performing Arts and taking place between 6-17 September 2023.

Lund University is inviting contributions for the two-day conference ‘Music’s institution and the (de)colonial’, to be held in Lund, Sweden on 4–5 May 2023. Trans Europe Halles is looking for a senior project manager / researcher to lead the Creative Europe ‘Cultural Transformation Movement’ project (Jan 2023 - Jan 2027). This is a four-year full-time position, based in Sweden with flexibility of 50% remote work. Start date is 1 February 2023.

The University of Gothenburg is seeking two postdoctoral researchers to join the core team of the European Research Council-funded project THINGSTIGATE – Things for Politics’ Sake: Aesthetic Objects and Social Change (ERC grant 101041284), led by Dr Tintin Wulia (Principal Investigator/PI). The first postdoc will specialise in archival research methods. The second postdoc will specialise in public interventions/field methods. The positions are for 2 years starting from 1 March 2023 or a date later agreed upon.

The point of departure for hybrida.space AIR 2023 is the idea that what an art residency is or how it can operate is not static. By involving creative individuals that are willing to co-create the residency, hybrida.space aims to work with the following question: How can we, as a group, set collective goals and self-organise in ways that prioritise both individual creativity and communality?

ETC - European Theatre Convention are looking for emerging theatre artists (particularly stage directors and dramaturgs) to join them in the sixth edition of the ETC Artist Residency Programme, offering placements of 4 to 8 weeks at ETC Member Theatres.
