In 2023, the Art Prospect Network Residency programme will support residencies for eighteen artists and curators from USA and the Art Prospect Network countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) focusing on exchange and collaboration in the field of socially engaged art and/or public art.

Cities Ahead is launching an open call for international creatives to propose participatory actions for the transformation of public space in Logroño, integrating aspects of urban innovation and sustainable/ecological development. The selected proposals will be carried out in Logroño during Concéntrico 09 – International Architecture and Design Festival, which will take place from 27 April - 2 May 2023.

For the Public Good (FTPG) is an online international programme for 5 artists organised by Leeds 2023. It’s aimed at artists who want to work with their local community and an academic researcher from Leeds. The artists will look to create unique artistic propositions on how technology can be used to help communities understand climate change issues that could potentially be implemented globally.     Sessions run December 2022 - March 2023. Applicants should be from eligible ODA countries.

Applications are now open for the 2023-2024 Cultural Bridge programme. Cultural Bridge celebrates intercultural artistic exchange through the collaboration of all UK arts councils and leading German cultural institutions. By funding partnerships between Germany and the UK, the programme aims to build new relationships and foster artistic collaboration and cultural democracy.

The international design lab ‘reimagine your city’ is a two-year (2022-2023) educational programme for 100 multidisciplinary professionals residing in Georgia, Poland, Ukraine and Germany. It aims at youth empowerment and participation in the socio-cultural transformation of neighbourhoods via interactive digital and creative practices. The hybrid programme begins on 2 November 2022 with a 5-week research module, design masterclasses, an offline winter school in Berlin, extensive group work, and grants for the implementation of small-scale projects, ending with a summer school in Georgia in the summer of 2023.

This open call is looking for site-specific projects to be produced in Vadsø during the Varanger festival 9-12 August 2023. The call is open to professional artists or artist groups from Finland or Finnish Lapland, as well as those who may not originally come from these areas, but who identify as northerners by virtue of either living in or having a connection with the north.

Each year, Beam Center seeks design proposals for ambitious public artworks that will be brought to life through collaborations between youth and creative big thinkers. Projects are realised by a community of more than 100 young people at three project sites: in New Hampshire (NH), on Governors Island (GI), and in a local NYC community. Individuals and collectives can submit proposals.

The Côa - Corridor of Arts land art festival celebrates the cultural heritage of the Greater Côa Valley in northern Portugal. Artists are invited to take up a residency of between four and six weeks (during the period January - May 2023) to co-create artworks with local communities that celebrate the link between nature and art.

Uncivilised Paradigms is a free online course open to 50 participants that embarks from socially engaged practices, New Genre Public Art, critical pedagogy and activism, in dialogue with contemporary artistic practices. The course consists of 50 hours of online sessions spread across July to October, with most of them taking place in September/October. Applicants should be under 35 (born in 1987) at the time of application.

The CROWD network calls for dance artists from across Denmark, England, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) in Germany, Norway and Scotland to apply for the 2022 dance residency programme, CROWD – international dance exchange. Programme activities take place between June – October 2022.

The Nantes Creative Generations Forum is an opportunity for young people aged 18-30 working on a project that strengthens the notion of citizenship in their city to come together and meet one another. Applicants should live and/or be developing a project in Nantes Métropole or a Member state of the Council of Europe (+ Belarus).

The ContextAiR Plovdiv residency programme aims at creating new works, partnerships, interventions in public space, inspired by the city of Plovdiv and its eclectic mix of ancient history, socialist heritage and modern reality. The programme provides conditions for a 6 week stay, with residencies taking place 20 May – 30 November 2022.
