Supported by the European Commission, artists from Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK have gathered in the “Artists in Creative Education” project in order to create a transnational guide for artists to work in primary schools. The resulting publication places a particular emphasis on the development of skills necessary to work creatively in schools in disadvantaged areas.
With this guide, its authors provide a tool to develop a shared and greater awareness of the creative approaches to education across all European countries, the establishment of collaborative transnational partnerships and a greater European co-operation.
