The aim of the ‘Boundary-Crosser’ residency project is to provide an opportunity for artists to explore creative intersections and processes with technologists. Selected artists will be hosted by one of the 8 participating CYENS Centre of Excellence Labs and will generate artistic work, during and after their time of residency. Residencies run 2-4 months.

The 8th edition of Arab Arts Focus will take place this year as part of D-CAF Festival in Cairo from 2-5 November 2023. This is an open call for Arab artists to submit their latest theatre, dance, or multidisciplinary performing arts work, with a chance to be selected to be part of this year’s showcase.

The V4@Theatre Critics Residency will enable participants to watch and discuss performances at the 31st edition of the International Theatre Festival Divadelná Nitra (22-27 September 2023). Applicants should be under 35 and from Visegrad Group and Western Balkan countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Eastern Partnership countries.

The ‘Sinti and Roma Art in Context’ residency programme offers local, national, or international Sinti and Roma artists a two-month residency from 15 September - 15th November 2023. Applicants should have a background in one of the following areas: photography, literature, illustration and comics, or theatre and movie screenwriting and music (composition and interpretation).

IETM is looking for a full-time Production Manager for its events which are held at various international locations, online and on occasion in Brussels, often in collaboration with local partners and organisers. The successful candidate can start as early as on 1 September 2023. This is a full time position (38h per week) located in Brussels, Belgium.

K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg provides three eight-month residencies per season to choreographers, who are currently at the beginning of their career and have produced some choreographic work of their own. The next residency will begin August 2024 and run until April 2025. Over the course of the residency the three choreographers will each develop a full-length piece that is presented at the end of the residency on three evenings.

Goethe-Institut Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines together with SAVVY Contemporary, TanzFaktur, and Leipzig International Art Programme are looking for two-month residency applications in visual art and performing art.

University of Göttingen are calling for Asian and multicultural artists to showcase their talents and delve into the captivating realm where art and technology converge. Performances of 20-30 minutes are sought for indoor or outdoor presentation in Göttingen, or presentation in virtual space.

The project Our Stage aims to give young Roma artists and travellers the opportunity to be in the forefront of creating performances and to gain ground in labour integration within the creative sector. Our Stage are now calling for young actors, dancers, technicians and musicians who feel involved with the Roma, Sinti and other traveling communities and who want to participate in an artistic international exchange between 6 countries from 15-21 October 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Theatre in Palm, an international project funded by Creative Europe, is hosting a Hybrid Residency on 6–17 November 2023. During the 2-week residency you will work with 10 local artists and 20 international artists, both live and online. The residency will end with 4–12 co-produced, new theatre pieces that are shared online with the whole group of 120 artists, plus 12 mentors, and the rest of the online world. Applicants must be resident in EU countries.

Krakow Dance Theatre seeks a choreographer to create a performance within the framework of the international project Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery, in the period October 2023 – February 2024. The call is open to professional choreographers with a proven track record from Hungary, Slovenia, Sweden, Romania and Croatia.
