BEK - Bergen Centre for Electronic Arts has one spot left for an artist, researcher or maker to participate in the ‘Replicator Workshop: A practical speculation on generative AI for physical production’. The workshop will run for three days (6-8 November 2023) in Bergen and result in a presentation during the symposium The Only Lasting Truth is Change on 18 November 2023.

The Norwegian Sculptors Society (Norsk Billedhoggerforening), Bodø2024 and Bodø Municipality seek five artists for KUNSTKANTEN: a new and unique outdoor exhibition arena in Bodø. In 2024 they will establish five art spots – platforms for art – that enter into dialogue with a city and a society undergoing change.

Skien municipality and the Telemark Canal Culture and Nature Park invite artists and creative professionals to an open call for applications for a major Ibsen-themed project in central Skien. The project will be part of the Stories of the Waterways project, which aims to draw attention to places along the historic Telemark Canal that connects Skien to inland Telemark.

The 17th International Assitej Festival will take place in Kristiansand from 12-16 September 2023. In 2023, the festival will also host the extensive EU project ConnectUp. The organisers are now calling for performing arts productions for young audiences between the ages of 0-19 and contributions to the professional programme.

This open call is looking for site-specific projects to be produced in Vadsø during the Varanger festival 9-12 August 2023. The call is open to professional artists or artist groups from Finland or Finnish Lapland, as well as those who may not originally come from these areas, but who identify as northerners by virtue of either living in or having a connection with the north.

Fjord Oslo is a free art festival that transforms Harbour Promenade in central Oslo into a large-scale outdoor exhibition of light. The dates for the third edition of Fjord Oslo are 3-6 November 2022, and the organisers are seeking works aligning with the theme of ‘Perspective / Prospective’.

Lofoten International Art Festival in Norway is seeking one or more curators who want to work with them on the 2022 biennial. In light of need for sustainability in international collaboration, the curator(s) will work to find new and meaningful ways of working globally and across national borders.
