The Music Imbizo is an international music business conference, exhibition and film festival. The conference collects various music industry stakeholders under one roof to map the way forward for the music industry in Africa. It is a platform to exhibit, network, share expertise and knowledge.
Several calls are open to participate in the next edition, running from 29 August - 2 September 2023 in Durban, South Africa. Among these, there is a call for curators/promoters that covers travel, visa and accommodation costs for those selected, and a call for showcasing artists (open to local and international artists and groups) that offers accommodation, a performance fee of 6000 ZAR (~320 EUR), and a 2000 ZAR (~105 EUR) stipend for any band traveling from outside the city.
