The cultural centre SODAS 2123 and cultural organisation Architektūros fondas invite architects, designers, urban activists and researchers to a funded 2-month-long artist-in-residency programme in Vilnius, Lithuania from 1 August – 31 September 2023. The residency programme seeks researchers and practitioners who react to (geo)political, ecological and social issues and their impact on spatial relations.

This year Resurrexit festival in Lithuania is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Lithuanian and foreign young musicians (up to 35 years old) are invited to apply for a seven-day educational Study Tour residency that will explore the Resurrexit festival from various perspectives to build practical and theoretical knowledge.

Lithuanian Photographers Association in collaboration with Nida Art Colony invite lens-based artists and photographers to apply for an artist residency programme in Nida.

Verpėjos (The Spinners) is inviting creators from different fields to an artistic residency in the Varėna area (South Lithuania) from July to October 2022. Residencies last for 1 month and take place over the period from 1 July to 30 October 2022.

Organised by the Culture Centre of Rokiškis, the international contemporary art festival ‘Start 2022’ is the biggest event of its kind in Panevėžys County (Northeast Lithuania). The festival will take place 29 August – 4 September 2022 and is calling for performances and art installations that push the boundaries between the audience and artist, and that combine different art forms. The call is open for artists based in the Baltic or Nordic regions.

CCA Derry~Londonderry and Kaunas Artists’ House’s DeMo (Decoding Modernity) residency is open to emerging artists based in or from Northern Ireland and Lithuania. The residency period in Lithuania and NI will take place during February 2022 lasting up to one month culminating with two solo exhibitions of new and/or existing work at CCA Derry~Londonderry, March–May 2022 and Kaunas exhibition spaces, June–August 2022.

Nida Art Colony is organising a new research/residency programme called Neringa Forest Architecture. Following on from a programme dedicated to Lithuanian artists, NAC is seeking applications from researchers, designers, architects and artists from Estonia, Latvia, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, including the autonomous areas of the Faroe Islands, the Åland Islands and Greenland, for the period December 2020 – March 2021.
