- Santuri East Africa and Ajabu Ajabu: Uvumbuzi Music Residency (Tanzania / Kenya)Santuri East Africa and Ajabu Ajabu supported by a grant from Ignite Culture: ACP-EU Culture Programme (Eastern Africa) are excited to announce an opportunity for East African musicians to participate in a unique music residency program called Uvumbuzi, bridging the creative landscapes of Dar es Salaam and Nairobi. For an intensive two week period in November, Kenyan artists will be hosted by Ajabu Ajabu in Dar Es Salaam (30t October – 12 November 2023), and Tanzanian artists will be hosted by Santuri in Nairobi (13-27 November 2023).Closed

- Kulturweit Tandem to Develop Projects Exploring the History of ColonialismIn the kulturweit Tandem project, two participants – one from an African country and one from Germany – reappraise the history of colonialism and its effects on the present. Together you develop anti-racism projects that you can implement in theatres, museums and schools, in charities, initiatives or companies in Germany.
