    The fifth edition of Film:ReStored, a festival dedicated to film heritage, will take place 27 October – 1 November 2020 at the Filmhaus in Berlin. The event will have a European focus, exploring challenges and solutions for European archives and film heritage institutions.   • Goethe-Institut Vietnam > Residency in Leipzig for Artists from Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam
    Goethe-Institut in South East Asia is funding a three-month residency at LIA-Leipzig International Art Programme, running 2 November 2020 - 29 January 2021. The residency includes the production of one print theme at the Atelier für Radierung Maria und Vlado Ondrej etching studio, and works towards a South East Asia print publication. Applicants do not need to be working in the field of print making, however; training will be provided. The residency is open to artists living or working in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore or Vietnam. Deadline: 31 March 2020.

    Since summer 2011, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research – PIK has been using the building of the former photographic refractor as a studio for visiting artists and a place where scientists and artists can come together.     Launched in 2006, the Moritzburg Festival Academy is an annual event that selects young musicians from all over the world to participate in an intensive training programme and form the international Moritzburg Festival Orchestra. The 2020 edition will take place 2-16 August 2020 at Moritzburg Castle in Germany. Open to music students aged between 16 and 26 years in the following instrument groups: Strings; Woodwinds and Brass (except Tuba); Timpani (only for orchestra); and Piano (for chamber music only).
