Global Connect is an IETM programme created with and supported by IETM Associate Members. The goal of Global Connect is to make the network more inclusive, diverse and accessible. Among other forms of support, successful applicants will benefit from funding to attend one IETM meeting: the IETM Plenary meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria on 12-15 June 2024.

PROSPER is an international project co-funded by the Creative Europe programme exploring the theme of environmentally challenged regions of the Balkans by inviting artists, designers, researchers, cultural workers, and thinkers of all disciplines to participate in a residency from 1-30 April 2024 at Lake Ohrid in North Macedonia.

With the artistic residency Forgotten Realms, Art Inside Out will invite two artists to Tjolöholm Castle to explore the irrational, fantastic and magical in our lives through various forms of artistic investigation over 8 weeks. The residency will have two phases: research 11–24 March 2024, production 15 May – 23 June 2024.

The contemporary dance group Tanssiartesaani is seeking 2 young dance artists, aged 18-30, to participate in a 1 month residency project (28 January – 28 February 2024) in the small town of Loviisa, in the south of Finland. Applicants must be resident in one of the 40 Creative Europe countries, except Finland.

Thinker Makers Space (TMS) of CYENS is pleased to announce an open call for the multi-discipline design residency program ‘Modular Design Apparatus – A multi-discipline build for Migrants’ Reception Centre’. Applicants should be resident in a Creative Europe country (excluding Cyprus).

Between Bridges is pleased to announce the open call for the next two biannual residencies for visual artists. One residency will take place from January to June 2024, the other from July to December 2024. They will each be divided into a five-month working phase and a one-month exhibition or public presentation. The upcoming recipients will follow artist and filmmaker Yalda Afsah (first half of 2023) and the collective Viscose (second half of 2023).

Tartu UNESCO City of Literature is happy to announce a special residency programme for writers from the Cities of Literature in the Nordic-Baltic region: Gothenburg, Kuhmo, Lillehammer, Reykjavik and Vilnius. Supported by the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture, Tartu City of Literature will offer 2-month residencies for five writers who live in the abovementioned cities or are otherwise closely connected to them. Organisers are able to host one resident at a time during the following periods:

The International Choreographic Festival of Blois (Blois Danse) will take place in Blois, France, from 5-7 July 2024. The festival is looking for six dance companies (max. 4 dancers per company) to present their work at the festival.

ETC - European Theatre Convention are looking for emerging theatre artists (particularly stage directors and dramaturgs) to join them in the sixth edition of the ETC Artist Residency Programme, offering placements of 4 to 8 weeks at ETC Member Theatres. Various residencies will take place throughout the first half of 2024.

European Digital Deal is now calling on artists interested in exploring the deep entanglement between new technologies and democracy to apply for one of 12 residencies. Applicants can individuals or groups.

In 2023, the Ministry of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate will for the first time award the Carl Zuckmayer Scholarship to promote contemporary European drama and the memory of the political German playwright Carl Zuckmayer. The scholarship is addressed to playwrights living in Europe who have already written at least one theatre play that has been staged already.
