The city of Viborg, a member of UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network for Media Arts, is promoting an Artist Residency Programme for artists in the field of digital art. Starting 1 March 2024 and running over three to four months, the programme will see artists invited to join a network of international creative cities, where they will be able to explore the various fields of digital art, including animation, video mapping, apps, games and XR fields.

The EU – West Africa Arts Fusion Residency & Expo 2024 will gather artists and creatives from Ghana, Togo, Benin, and EU Member States together to stimulate cross-continental collaboration and cultural interaction. There are three categories for applications: fashion, music and visual arts.

Urbane Künste Ruhr invites artists who are interested in working with local networks and public meeting places to take part in a three-month residency (April – June 2024) for its upcoming 2024 season. The residency is part of the Healing Complex project. Two positions will be allocated for the residency. Interested artists can apply individually or jointly; applications from collectives are also very welcome.

The European Commission and the Living Spaces consortium (Eurocities and the Architects’ Council of Europe) are looking for experts to help prepare, facilitate and report on 12 peer-learning visits in the context of the Living Spaces project.

Ready Steady Go! is a 10-month learning expedition/journey welcoming 14 artists and cultural professionals from the Mediterranean. Through immersive workshops, online capacity building sessions and international gatherings, Ready Steady Go! aims to support artists and cultural professionals to identify and apply for mobility funding and support schemes and to increase their access to the international scene.

Supergau festival in Salzburg in Austria is calling for artistic projects in outdoor space. Selected applicants will be invited for a residency period in the lead up to the festival in May/June 2025.

This year, La Nature Festival will be themed around ‘Mycelium’. The festival has two calls – one for projects that respond to this theme and another open call for projects that are not thematically connected to it.

MGLC Švicarija, a creative and residential centre, in collaboration with the Igor Zabel Association for Culture and Theory, both based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, is inviting art critics and cultural journalists to apply for a fully funded, one-month residency in Ljubljana during October 2024.
