EMEE: Network Coordinator

EMX logo - block capital letters in a minty green on a black background. The E is a little warped, as if a ripple is passing through it.

EMEE is launching a new Network Project funded by the Creative Europe programme, starting March 2022. This means growing responsibilities and a larger team. EMEE is looking for a person to assume a dual role of network coordinator and project manager for the new project ‘Developing European Music Export Capacity’, or DEMEC for short. The role is a dynamic part-time position, paid through a service provision agreement. This is suitable for a self-employed or a sole-proprietor / company owner.

As the network coordinator, your main role would be to coordinate and support the work of the executive board, organise EMEE meetings thrice per year, and administer all other aspects of keeping the network running smoothly. As the project manager, you would be responsible for implementing the project activities, managing the team and handling the administrative reporting to both the EMEE board and the supervisory committee and European Commission.

EMEE offers:

  • A highly dynamic part-time position with an uneven distribution of the workload across different weeks and months, but on average being 40% FTE.
  • Location-independent working relationship – all work is essentially remote work via video calls, except the network meetings and project events.
  • A position paid through a service provision agreement with a 2600€/month fee (all costs, also VAT included). This is suitable for a self-employed or a sole-proprietor / company owner.
  • A chance to contribute to shaping a young, but vibrant European music network with an increasing impact in the European music sector!
