Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery is calling for participation in the dance showcase programme ‘Rollercoaster - Collectors of sensations’, organised by Krakow Dance Theatre and The Centre for Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor CRICOTEKA. The programme runs February - October 2024 with a theme of Space. Applicants should be from Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia or Sweden.

Are you an artist passionate about exploring the heritage that reminded us of challenging times in the 20th century in Eastern Europe, Eastern Partnership countries, and Central Asia? If so, Floating EKA invites you to be part of their ‘I Inherit What You Lost’ artistic laboratory. Artists from from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia can apply.

Culture Utopias is the title of a residency that aims to create a collaborative and courageous space of action in which artists, cultural managers, activists and citizens from Romania, Poland and Ukraine can reflect on the challenges Europe has faced in the last decade.

Performing Togetherness is a new type of laboratory-residency developed by Gabriela Tudor Foundation as a result of the crisis within the cultural sector following the pandemic period and the war in Ukraine. The laboratory-residency is open to interested mid-career participants with experience in collaborative practices from Austria, Germany, Poland, Romania and Ukraine.

Global Connect is an IETM programme created with and supported by IETM Associate Members. The goal of Global Connect is to make the network more inclusive, diverse and accessible. Among other forms of support, successful applicants will benefit from funding to attend one IETM meeting: the IETM Plenary meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria on 12-15 June 2024.

ETC - European Theatre Convention are looking for emerging theatre artists (particularly stage directors and dramaturgs) to join them in the sixth edition of the ETC Artist Residency Programme, offering placements of 4 to 8 weeks at ETC Member Theatres. Various residencies will take place throughout the first half of 2024.

European Digital Deal is now calling on artists interested in exploring the deep entanglement between new technologies and democracy to apply for one of 12 residencies. Applicants can individuals or groups.

For its research residencies, the European project tekhnē welcomes artists, researchers, art educators and cultural workers working with and around autonomous and experimental approaches to technology, and reflections about what can be considered technology. Residency lengths vary between two and six weeks, between December 2023 and December 2024.

The cultural centre Malý Berlín and City of Trnava are looking for Slovak or foreign architects, urban planners, and researchers to undertake a residency from October – December 2023. Applicants will receive opportunities to work on a selected topic, get to know the local context, and propose a solution in direct collaboration with the main architect of the city of Trnava and his department.

Organised by the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and the Institute of Art Polish Academy of Sciences, the ‘Devised Theatre / Dance Theatre’ conference will be held in Katowice from 9-12 November 2023. The conference organisers invite the participation of theoreticians and practitioners who are fascinated by the working methods and tools of devised theatre.
