PACT Zollverein’s residency programme is open to professional artists from Germany and abroad who work in the areas of dance, performance, media arts or music and are closely linked to PACT’s two other core strands of activity in presenting work and facilitating research and development. The next residency period will run January - June 2023.

European artists, or collectives can apply to the EMAP residency programme with a project proposal for a residency of two months within June 2022 to January 2023. The artists will be collaborating with an artist of their choice or an artist local to the platform’s host institutions.

IAS CEU offers one Writer in Residence fellowship and one Visual/New Media Artist in Residence fellowship to provide selected artists with opportunities to conceptualise and create new works while providing the Fellow community with opportunities for meaningful interaction with artists working in various fields. Košice – UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts is offering media artists a two-month stay in Košice this autumn (16 October – 16 December 2022). The open call is limited to the artists who are either born, live or work in any of the UNESCO Creative Cities.

‘Multimedia and Relational Arts’ is the Digital Manufacturing Summer School and creative residencies 2022. The main goal of the project is to train young artists under 35 by promoting new productions strongly connected with the stories of production realities of their working areas. Theater, dance, video, multimedia installations are expressive languages that can be used to narrate corporate identities, good practices of production, artisan workshops memories, as well as enhancing and upgrading through performativity the production spaces.

‘Media Art Experiments’ – this is the motto that identifies lab30 festival as a meeting place for local, regional, and international media artists. For four days, about 50 creative artists gather at Kulturhaus abraxas in Augsburg (Germany) and present their latest works in exhibitions, concerts, workshops and performances. lab30 provides an exhibition hall and two stages for manifold experiments with arts and technologies.

As part of the 2022 Peer 2 Peer Festival BOM & Videotage are launching an intensive 5 day virtual residency from 5-9 September 2022 for two artists (one based in the UK and one in Hong Kong) who are working in or inspired by game art.

Art Center Nabi is pleased to resume its international open call on art, technology and society. Art Center Nabi has been at the forefront of the media art scene, discovering emerging artists through running various programs such as residencies, hackathons, conferences, and exhibitions. Art Center Nabi also works with artists from diverse cultural backgrounds to create platforms that examine and confer creative and aesthetic potentials of the convergence between art, technology and society.

The VH AWARD supports emerging Asian media artists to share their artistic experiments and amplify their voices on diverse issues by offering the opportunity to participate in an online residency programme (October-December 2022) and showcase their works across various global platforms.

The e-residency ‘Stop. Look Back. Look Ahead. Proceed.’ is a virtual residency on arts and climate change for emerging artists from the music, new media, film, comics, visual arts and photography sectors.  Applicants should be nationals of ASEM Asian countries / nationals of any ASEM countries currently residing in Spain between the ages of 21 and 30.

The nature park Hoher Fläming is located about 80 km southwest of Berlin and Potsdam, in southwest Brandenburg (Germany). They seek an artist to create five brand-new, site-specific artworks in augmented reality for the ‘International Art Walking Trail’.
