Island Connect will facilitate 2 two-week fully-funded residencies for 8 artistic companies in the calm surroundings of island residencies in Denmark, Croatia, Ireland, Greece or Spain – the Balearic Islands. Residencies will take place throughout 2022. Applications are open to artists and companies (max 3 people) from Denmark, Croatia, Ireland, Greece or the Balearic Islands.

The Link Up Euro Connection (LEC) is a brand new seven-month program with European co-creation and co-production between artists and producers from Groningen, Manchester, Aarhus and Berlin. This open call is for emerging hip hop artists and producers resident in the four cities, with exchanges taking place in the first half of 2022.

In From the Margins is a European cooperation project between Edinburgh Printmakers, Scotland; Cork Printmakers, Ireland; Funen Printmaking Studio, Odense, Denmark; International Centre of Graphic Arts, Ljubljana, Slovenia; and AGA Lab, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

This call invites international artists to help come up with solutions to 21 local challenges defined by 12 Regional S+T+ARTS Centres. 21 artists will be awarded fellowships that encourage them to critique the present and reimagine sustainable futures. Fellowships run February 2022 - August 2022 with exhibiting dissemination activities following from September 2022 - December 2022.

Warehouse9 is delighted to announce a new opportunity for Nordic-based LGBTQIA+ artists working in live art and interdisciplinary performance to propose and deliver a unique research-based workshop for/with up to 5 participating artists. Workshops will need to take place between 22-28 November 2021. Individuals or duos can apply.

The Central Denmark Region has launched the Global Goal Gables initiative in collaboration with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. In this project, 17 artists will create 17 works of art on gables in 17 Danish towns. Work will take place during 2022.

SUSTAIN offers two opportunities to contemporary visual artists living and/or working in Greater Manchester and the Aarhus region: an Artist Digital Exchange (October 2021 to March 2022) of workshops, talks, visits, critical feedback and professional support focussed on low carbon art-making; and a two-month Slow Travel Residency (May/June in Manchester; August/September in Aarhus) for 1 artist from Greater Manchester and 1 artist from Aarhus.

Future Female Sounds are inviting applications to join in the European Female DJ Summit. This two day summit focused exclusively on female and gender minority DJs (non-binary, trans women, trans men and femme-identifying) from the European Union, will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark 9-11 June 2021. Selected applicants will be supported to attend the event.

Sound Art Lab (SAL) is a new centre for artistic development in sound located in the City of Sound, Struer in Denmark. They offer two residencies during 2021, each lasting three months, preferably starting from late August / early September. Residency projects should result in a public exhibition/performance/presentation.

ALICE is a Copenhagen based venue for adventurous music and art with equal interest in experimental and traditional modes of expression. ALICE wants to explore new ways of contributing to an ongoing global discussion of music and art through direct participation and co-creation.

Walking Landscapes connects art and nature in a programme of 130 artistic walks through different Danish landscapes in the period June to October 2021. The organisers are looking for artists who have a strong connection to the participating municipalities (Bornholm – Frederikshavn, Skagen, Nykøbing Falster, Guldborgsund, Randers, Roskilde, Silkeborg, Vejle, Viborg, Vordingborg / Møn, Aabenraa, Aalborg, Aarhus) to create 12 hour walks that include a participatory element.
