As an institution, Art Hub Copenhagen aims to create networks. The Art Hub Residency therefore actively aims to create and expand artists’ networks both nationally and internationally. Focusing on networking, contemplation, and production, Art Hub Residency features a studio, a monthly fee, a production budget, and a programme of development and feedback based on the needs of each artist. The programme features meetings with selected curators/mentors and a programme of visits to selected art institutions in Denmark.

BABEL – or The Art of Listening in Theatre for young audiences (TYA) is seeking young emerging arts practitioners (under 36 years old) for participation in training workshops within the theme ‘The Art of Listening, the sensitive relationship between performer and child/adolescent spectator’ during several BABEL festivals in different countries in Europe over the period of 2023-2024.

‘MANIFEST: New artistic perspectives on memories of the transatlantic trade of enslaved people’ aims to contribute to and enhance the re-imagination of Europe’s collective memory of the transatlantic trade of enslaved people. Artists from Creative Europe countries are sought for a support programme of residencies and workshops leading to final artworks produced in digital formats.

Earthwise Residency in Mols Bjerge, Denmark have announced an open call for two Curious Encounters residencies (9 January – 19 February 2023 / 17 April – 28 May 2023) with a focus on the ‘more-than-human’ world – meaning all the other entities, species, or matter whom we share the planet with. Each residency period is for two collaborating persons: one artist and one researcher or specialist.

Yet, It Moves! will unfold through a series of decentralised art installations shown at different locations in Copenhagen from May to October 2023. The organisers Copenhagen Contemporary are searching for artists, architects, designers, curators, landscape architects or others who are in any way professionally engaged in art or architecture in the public space  to send proposals for contributions.

In cooperation with ROSA, SNYK, project NEUSTART and The Dome, Aarhus Festival is inviting participants to compose a site-specific piece of music for The Dome in Aarhus. The festival will appoint a German and a Danish artist to create two pieces in total.

State of the Art Network (SOTAN) is a Nordic-Baltic transdisciplinary network of artists, practitioners, researchers, and organisations who have come together to discuss the role, responsibility, and potential of art and culture in the Anthropocene. Partners from the network are offering a number of opportunities in summer 2022.

Malt AIR is a visual arts residency programme in Denmark that aims to support the development of the resident’s artistic practice and to foster exchanges between the residing artist and the Danish contemporary visual arts scene. Applications are open to professional artists from abroad (non-Danish artists). Available residency periods are 28 November 2022 – 25 February 2023 and 13 March 2023 – 10 June 2023.

Artists and companies (up to 4 members) based in the Baltic and/or Nordic region are eligible to apply for a 4-weeks residency in autumn 2022 at DYNAMO workspace. The residency does not have a set thematic, and it is therefore open to artists working in any discipline and with any artistic thematic across contemporary circus.

The Læsø AiR programme is inviting applications from Danish and international visual artists for residencies of six and twelve weeks. Residencies take place principally over summer and autumn 2022.

The CROWD network calls for dance artists from across Denmark, England, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) in Germany, Norway and Scotland to apply for the 2022 dance residency programme, CROWD – international dance exchange. Programme activities take place between June – October 2022.
