Poland’s National Institute of Music and Dance has announced the final call for applications for the ‘Dancing Together, Again!’ creative residency project implemented under the Creative Europe programme. Its main objectives include cultural exchange, interaction between artists, producers and dance researchers with an emphasis on the creative process and integration with local communities.
The programme includes residencies organised from 2023-2024 in Georgia, Croatia, Italy, and Poland, respectively. The final residency will take place in Naples, Italy from 4-17 March 2024. Its topic will be the inclusivity of dance and performing arts, with particular emphasis on intergenerational and intercultural exchange and the inclusion of people with and without disabilities. The residency will be curated by Gabriella Stazio.
The project is addressed to all people involved in dance who work in one of 3 groups:
- Artist – choreographers and dancers.
- Curator – producers, organizers and presenters.
- Researcher – philosophers, theorists, historians, critics, documentarians and kinetographers.
This call for application involves no restrictions based on age, cultural background or special needs. The organisers will provide participants with travel (up to 350 EUR), accommodation, and board costs reimbursed plus a scholarship for the days of the residency.
Applications are open to artists, curators and researchers in the dance field from Georgia, Croatia, Italy, and Poland.
