The JRC makers-in-residence programme is an annual, short-term research-focused residence hosted by the JRC Makerspace, in the Joint Research Centre’s Ispra site, in Italy. The third edition of the programme is planned for the first quarter of 2024. The selected makers are invited to a maximum 10-days funded residency.

The Soft Data and Common Wares residencty calls for artists to join conversations on diverse topics such as: the non-neutrality of data, algorithmic bias, digital labour, the invisible infrastructures of data collection, gender and the body, networks, methods, sonic technologies, interpretative nature of data, and earth + space + body. Residencies will take place over one month during spring 2024, within the period from 1 April – 30 June 2024.

Nyskaben is organising a residency from 1-30 June 2024 for 4 artists/cultural practitioners working with participatory art in Lundø, Denmark. Only people legally residing in a Creative Europe country other than Denmark can apply.

Salmastra is a cultural association for urban regeneration that aims to propose new imaginations and understandings of the sea. Salmastra is offering a two-month residency (mid-January – mid-March 2024) for practitioners who have a relation to the sea.

UNIDEE Residency Programs, Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto and Kimonos Art Center have announced a joint open call for a four-week Research Residency between Cyprus and Italy for an international artist or researcher, who will spend two weeks in Paphos from 6-20 November 2023 and two weeks in Biella from 21 November - 5 December 2023. The residency is an opportunity to develop or continue their artistic research linked to a socially responsible transformation, and specifically to environmental and ecological issues.

Verpėjos (The Spinners) is inviting interdisciplinary artists to a two-month artistic residency in the Kabeliai village in Lithuania from 1 July - 29 August 2024. Applicants should reside in Creative Europe countries.

From spring 2024, Spreepark Art Space will offer a residency programme for interdisciplinary artists and collectives of up to 4 people. The three-month residencies are offered in Eierhäuschen, a freshly renovated, historic restaurant, that is a space for artistic production and sustainable and social interaction. The residency periods in 2024 are: 8 April - 21 June 2024, 1 July - 20 September 2024 and 30 September - 13 December 2024.

Culture Moves Europe is the new permanent mobility scheme funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut Brussels. Expert evaluators are needed for the Culture Moves Europe scheme.

MCH is currently seeking people to host Local Gatherings as part of their 2024 Meeting Point. This can be an activity such as a talk, workshop, seminar or creative action which engages people in connection and exchange in relation to the theme ‘Perspectives from the Grassroots’. After organising their local event (anytime between 8-16 March 2023), hosts will take part in an in-person programme in Hanoi from 21-23 March 2024.
