The E-ROUTES In-Residency Programme offers contemporary authors, writers, artists, and creative individuals an opportunity to spend one month in a chosen country (Croatia, Italy or Serbia) in the first half of 2024. The call is open to authors/artists permanently based in any European country.

Music Biennale Zagreb, a festival of contemporary music, is looking for new collaborators for the organisation and production of the 33rd edition of the festival in 2025: an executive director and a producer.

/’fu:bar/ is an annual programme focused on electronic experiments and research in contemporary error-themed digital art and theory. The 2023 edition is focused on the practices and value of DIY – Do it yourself, but for others with and in art software, methods, archives, communities, theory and other relevant facets of our shared contemporary electronic culture. Zavod za eksperimentalni zvuk (ZEZ) and KONTEJNER are inviting Croatian and regional (ex-Yugoslavian country) sound artists to apply for the eighth edition of the Exhibition of Sound with their performances, sound installations, audio and A/V artworks, and all other media and experimental artworks which use sound as a constitutive element or main media. This year’s multimedia exhibition is going to be held from 9-16 November 2023 in Zagreb.

FAKI Festival – International Festival of Alternative Theatrical Expression is calling for artists, activists, researchers and theatre critics to participate in its next edition happening in Zagreb, Croatia from 27 May - 2 June 2024.

Gallery Siva in Zagreb, Croatia invites artists, curators and artist collectives to apply to its open call for 2024. Gallery Siva’s programme is designed to provide support to artists by giving them access to a contemporary art gallery venue and an unconventional Croatian and international cultural / subcultural exchange spot. The featured artists are free to exhibit in different formats.

European artists, or collectives can apply to the EMAP residency programme with a project proposal for a residency of two months in 2024. The artists will be collaborating with an artist of their choice or an artist local to the platform’s host institutions.

The regional workshop on technical production ‘Light and Sound in Arts and Culture’ will take place in Pogon – Zagreb Center for Independent Culture and Youth in Zagreb, Croatia from 26-30 September 2023. The programme is open to people working in the field of independent art or culture who are from Southeast Europe (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia).

Poland’s National Institute of Music and Dance has announced the second call for applications for the ‘Dancing Together, Again!’ creative residency project implemented under the Creative Europe programme. The second residency will take place in Rijeka, Croatia, between 3-24 September 2023. Applications are open to artists, curators and researchers in the dance field.

Hand to Hand is a European cooperation project which aims to explore the issue of sustainability through learning and experiential spaces of innovation and research for circus artists. 16 circus artists will be selected to participate in an introduction workshop in Châlons en Champagne on 4-6 July 2023, with 8 then following a full programme of residencies in Croatia, Denmark, France and Portugal from March 2023 to July 2025.

The Summer Sessions are short-term international art and technology residencies for emerging artists and designers. Each Summer Sessions residency lasts approximately eight weeks and takes place between July and September. This year the programme is open to artists under the age of 35 and/or graduated within the past five years living in Netherlands, Croatia, Italy, Norway, Spain or Egypt.
