- Mekong Cultural Hub / British Council > SEAΔ 2020-2021SEAΔ is a programme co-created by Mekong Cultural Hub and British Council that creates space for cultural practitioners to reflect on how their work in arts and culture can contribute to sustainable development within South East Asia through their individual and collective leadership. The focus area for 2020-2021 is ‘Biotrade’. The programme has four stages, with gatherings taking place in countries in South East Asia between November 2020 and September 2021. 10 Fellows will be selected from 10 countries: Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. - Lee Kong Chian Research FellowshipThe National Library of Singapore invites applications for the Lee Kong Chian Research Fellowship programme, a six-month residential fellowship to research valuable historical materials, dating from the 16th century, on Singapore and Southeast Asia in the collections of the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library and the National Archives of Singapore. - Donggang International Photo Festival Open CallDongGang International Photo Festival will be held this year from 10 July to 27 September 2020 in Yeongwol, South Korea. Photographers are invited to submit their work for the festival. One artist or collective will be nominated as Artist of the Year and 10 to 20 additional artists will be selected to have their work featured in a year-long exhibition that exposes their work at the DIPF Festival. - The 5th Lih Pao International Sculpture Biennial AwardsFirst organised in 2011, the Lih Pao International Sculpture Biennial Awards returns in 2021 and invites sculptors from around the world to submit work on the theme of Infinity. Applications are evaluated in multiple rounds, with a number of the eventual prize winners invited to attend the final ceremony in Taipei. - Yan Concept Limited > Young Yan Artists Residence ProgrammeThe Young Yan Artists Residence Programme is a project of Yan Concept Limited, a creative brand working at the intersection of art and architecture. The next residency will take place July – December 2020 at Yan Garden in Dongguan, China. The current call is open to artists aged under 35 who are practising contemporary art in any form. Applicants should also have a desire to develop a career in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the capacity to work on a residency project based on the local environment and context. - Art Jameel > Digital CommissionThe third round of Art Jameel Commissions aims to support the production of a digital artwork that will live online, on the Jameel Art Centre website, for audiences to engage with, regardless of where they may be, from autumn/winter 2020 to 2021. The theme of the commission is TIME. It is open to artists of any nationality or age who have links to, and a grasp of, the environmental and cultural nuances of the wider Middle Eastern region. Artists may be from or based in the Middle East, North Africa or Turkey – either living in the region or diaspora – and/or engaged in contributing to the various cultural scenes of the region. - Pier-2 Artist-in-Residence ProgrammeThe Pier-2 Artist-in-Residence Programme (PAIR) is run by Pier-2 Art Center, a harbourside facility in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. For 2021, the organisers are organising the programme around the theme of ‘Ocean: The Dark Side’. The residency will last 60-90 days, and take place between 1 March 2021 and 31 December 2021. There are two international residencies available: one for applicants who are Dutch or based in the Netherlands, and one for applicants who are not Japanese or Dutch nationals.
