On the Move are honoured to be the recipient of this year’s Professional Excellence Award presented by WOMEX.
Join us for this session in which Marie Fol and Marie Le Sourd will be interviewed by Balász Weyer. This session is in recognition of On the Move’s contribution to the global music community and dedication to re-shaping the landscape of the international music scene by providing information for mobilising artists and professionals to operate internationally; and for working to re-imagine mobility as more fair, more green and more inclusive.
Mind the Gap: Designing residencies for everyone, will bring the international artist residency community together in the UK for the very first time, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Res Artis and 50 years of Acme. This year’s event will help chart a future for impactful residency opportunities, with a focus on optimism and practical working solutions for issues facing the sector.
GREC_PRO acts as a chance to discover more about the City of Barcelona‘s cultural ecosystem while visualising the future of the international performing arts community. With the overall aim to create strong actions and demands that concern mobility, sustainability and diversity.
On Thursday 7th July, Yohann Floch (Director of operations, On the Move) will join the discussion titled ‘Visualising the future between transformation and facts - where are we now?’
The 9th edition of the annual ETC European Theatre Academy will again take place during the Festival d’Avignon in France, from Tuesday 4 to Saturday 8 July 2023.
It will offer masterclasses and the opportunity to work on own projects with mentors, focusing on the different aspects of curating and managing international theatre collaborations, as well as networking opportunities with other young theatre professionals.
As part of Art, Climate, Transition (ACT), a large-scale European cooperation project on ecology, climate change and social transition funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, Artsadmin is co-hosting an international symposium over two days, from Wednesday 28 – Thursday 29 June.
This conversation as part of The Prague Quadriennale will be an opportunity to share and discuss the findings of an updated and ongoing mapping of funding practices for the mobility of artists and cultural professionals within and with Africa.
Marie Le Sourd, Secretary general of On the Move will facilitate the introductory session of this afternoon of discussions related to ”the production and circulation of artworks” and “access to training and employment for artists with disabilities”.
On the Move via its director of operations, Yohann Floch will moderate the plenary session of European and international cooperation projects on 2nd of June in Tournefeuille, France.
The day of meetings is organised by Occitanie en scène, member of La Collaborative (OTM member) with L’Usine, part of the Exit Festival.
During this plenary, three programmes will be discussed:
What is the current cultural landscape for European artists, arts professionals and audiences with disabilities in 2023? What recent advances have been made on a national and European basis?
On the Move has been invited by RAC for a meeting on May 25th.
Marie Le Sourd (On the Move, Secretary General) will share the most recent trends related to the support of artists and cultural professionals in Europe and internationally. Funding, opportunities and questions related to administrative issues related to mobility will be at the heart of his presentation.
Marie will also come back to certain European mechanisms, including Culture Moves Europe and Perform Europe.
Two years on from the ground-breaking Time to Act report, British Council has commissioned On the Move - to conduct a follow-up report looking further into the knowledge gaps in the cultural sector that contribute towards inequalities for disabled artists and audiences.
