The project is based on a peer to peer learning approach, aiming at accessing knowledge within different museum structures to develop future concepts for museum work in Africa.     Les Jeux de la Francophonie 2021 se dérouleront du 23 juillet au 1er août à Kinshasa, en République démocratique du Congo. Sous l’égide de l’Organisation internationale de la francophonie (OIF), cet événement réunit tous les 4 ans plus de 3 500 jeunes artistes et athlètes issus des Etats et gouvernements membres de l’OIF. Les inscriptions pour les candidats aux concours culturels sont ouvertes auprès du ministère de la Culture en charge de présélectionner la délégation qui représentera la France.     L’Art Rue, a Tunisian association carrying out citizens’ and innovative art projects in public spaces, is offering two residency sessions for artists of any discipline from the Middle East and Africa. The first will take place from September to December 2020, and the second from January to April 2021.     The 5th African World Heritage Youth Forum, an event focusing on Youth, Entrepreneurship and Heritage Sustainability in Africa, will take place 28 April – 5 May 2020 at Robben Island, South Africa. Applicants should be an African citizen between the ages of 18 – 35, with at least a post-secondary certified training and/or qualification.   • African Writers Trust > Publishing Fellowship
    The African Writers Trust Publishing Fellowship programme is open to early career publishers and creative writers intending to self-publish their manuscripts. Applicants will be selected from Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. The first stage of the programme will be a residential Mentoring and Training Workshop, held in Uganda from 8-14 March 2020. Following the workshop, fellows will be invited to apply for seed funding.
